Welcome to Luxor Homes

Luxor Homes is a family owned custom homebuilding company that was founded in 2001. Gary Haarer, who founded Luxor Homes together with his wife and three adult children, has been building homes in the Phoenix market since 1976.

During its first eight years, Luxor Homes delivered fifty-four custom homes in North Scottsdale and one home in Fountain Hills making it one of the largest builders of custom homes in Scottsdale. Prior to founding Luxor Homes, Gary Haarer was responsible for the construction of nearly 20,000 homes in the Phoenix market while employed by a national homebuilder. This has given Gary the long-standing relationships with proven-quality trades people and suppliers that allow Luxor Homes to build quality homes at competitive prices.

Luxor Homes has designed and built homes ranging from 3,500 to 8,000 square feet and a 10,000 square footer in the process. The Luxor team is highly experienced in working with customers to turn their dreams into reality. Luxor maintains an 8,000 square foot fully decorated custom model home that is designed to help buyers visualize the end product.

Luxor Homes has developed two custom home communities, Sonoran Crest, with fifty-eight custom home sites, and The Estates at Miramonte, with twelve custom home sites. Both communities are contiguous to the original Troon, south of the Happy Valley Road alignment in north Scottsdale with a typical drive time from the 101 loop of less than fifteen minutes. Most of the homes at Sonoran Crest have been completed and construction has begun on the first homes at The Estates at Miramonte. In addition to offering homes on its inventory of lots, Luxor Homes will contract to build a home on a lot provided by the homebuyer.
